ANSWERING GOD'S CALL TO SERVE
Mision 610 exists as a response to God’s calling to love, serve, and bring hope to those in need. Every project, every journey, and every act of service is rooted in the desire to honor Christ and demonstrate His love in tangible ways. We believe that serving others is not only a responsibility, but a privilege that reflects the heart of the Gospel in action.
MISSION, VISION & HISTORY.
Our History
Mision 610 was born in the Peruvian jungle in February 2024 as a ministry dedicated initially to providing visual care to people in need. Its name is inspired by Galatians 6:10, which calls us to “do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
We began by serving communities with limited access to health services, offering free reading and distance glasses to children, youth, and adults. Thanks to the support of friends, donors, and volunteers, thousands of people regained their vision and improved their quality of life.
Over time, God led us to recognize new needs: many families lacked access to safe drinking water. This expanded our mission, and we began installing water purification systems in rural Amazon communities, providing continuous access to clean water.
We also had the privilege of supporting a local church that had been trying for years to complete its worship center. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, this long-awaited project was finally completed.
In February 2025, Mision 610 took an important step forward, becoming an official nonprofit association in Peru, continuing our work in visual care and adding primary dental services for communities where few organizations can reach. In every stage we have witnessed God’s faithfulness—providing, guiding, and reminding us that every good work comes from Him.
Our desire is to continue serving our communities with excellence, bringing the love of Christ to life through service, and reaching as far as the Lord allows.

To see the church become an agent of transformation, impacting its community spiritually, physically, and socially, reflecting the love and restoring power of Christ.
STATEMENT OF FAITH.
The Bible as God’s Word
We believe that the Bible tells the grand story of God — creation, the fall, redemption, and the promise of a new creation. It shapes how we see the world and our place in it. We receive it as God’s Word, written through human authors under divine inspiration, true and reliable in all that it teaches. Through Scripture, we know who God is—His character, His purposes, and His works—and we recognize its complete authority over what we believe and how we live.
God the Creator
We believe that the one true and living God is the Creator of everything that exists. His creation reflects His power, glory, and goodness. God made humanity in His image—male and female—to love, worship, and obey Him, to live in just and compassionate relationship with one another, and to care responsibly for the world He made.
Human Sin
We believe that humanity has rebelled against God, rejecting His rule and disobeying His Word. Because of this, people are separated from God, from one another, and from creation itself. Sin deserves God’s judgment and results in spiritual death. Its effects are seen everywhere—in culture, economics, politics, and religion—bringing corruption, injustice, and suffering into the world God intended for good.
The Worth of Every Person
Even though sin has distorted God’s image in us, every human being still bears that image and therefore possesses inherent dignity, worth, and equality. God loves all people in their cultural and ethnic diversity, and through His grace He has reached out to offer salvation through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior
We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God—the promised Messiah—sent to bring salvation to the world. In Jesus, God took on human form and revealed His kingdom through both His words and His life. On the cross, Jesus bore the full weight of human sin, making it possible for us to be reconciled to God by grace through faith alone. Through His suffering, He entered into ours; through His resurrection, He conquered death and opened the way to new life. He is now exalted as Lord over all, and one day He will return to judge evil, defeat Satan and death, and establish God’s eternal kingdom.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit has been at work since creation, bringing life, justice, and renewal. The Spirit convicts the world of sin, leads people to repentance and faith, and unites believers to Christ—making real in them what Jesus accomplished. The Holy Spirit fills and empowers every believer to live in holiness, love, and obedience, bearing fruit that reflects the character of Christ. The Spirit also gives gifts and strength to proclaim the Gospel, to pray with power, to discern truth, and to stand against the forces of darkness.
The Church and God’s Mission
We believe that the Church continues the calling of God’s people from the beginning—to be a light to the nations and a community marked by holiness, compassion, and justice. Redeemed by Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Church exists to worship and glorify God and to join in His transforming mission in the world. We are sent to proclaim His truth, serve others in love, and point all people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
